The new Continental GT Speed engine also benefits from improved CO2 emissions and improved fuel consumptions as a result of an overall improved engine efficiency. With its torque 750Nm (553 lb-ft) at just above an idle and available throughout the engine rpm range, the Continental GT Speed boasts an increase of 15 percent in torque, supporting effortless overtaking performance. The shorter engine configuration, together with a fuel tank under the floor of the car, gave the Continental design team the unprecedented luxury of space. Not only does the Continental GT seat four adults in perfect comfort and style, items such as skis can be through-loaded from the boot into the rear cabin. The impressive luggage space was designed with practicality in mind, with room for two sets of golf clubs with consummate ease.

Steering wheels are double-stitched by hand using one continuous piece of thread, taking five hours to create one steering wheel cover.
